Assisting production lines with any issues that arise as well as helping spec new equipment -Developed product accessories to meet the needs of US customers while assisting in the launch of a new product line developing 10m in revenue the first year. -Created a new product revision through the use of CAM software using in house CNC equipment in order to meet cost/volume expectations and continued customer satisfaction. -Implemented an electro/mechanical testing apparatus for speciality locking slides using linear actuators and sensors using custom coded software -Use of project management software to track responsibilities and coordinate activities including the use of outside vendors. -Setup and analyze completed tests and writing reports. Complied to BHMA/KCMA/UL Standards -Assisted Quality with review of PPAP documents and FMEA reviews as well as ECN’s

Oversaw products from concept through mass production. Collaborated with Brand Development, Marketing, Industrial Design, Quality, and Electrical groups. -Interpreted the product specs and required features and partnered with Industrial Design groups to develop the overall shape and basic functionality. Fine-tuned the product to meet the desired requirements and cost point. -Managed projects through multiple tiered steps, including design and technical project reviews. -Created models from rapid prototyped parts and assembled models for proof of concept testing. -Redesigned existing pendulum swing to incorporate new features, and update aesthetics if the new features came in below cost and capital investments. -Led the pendulum swing redesign to use as many existing parts as possible in an effort to reduce capital from new tools and focus on cost reductions to offset the new electronics costs. Currently on track to be under the cost target.

Working within the engineering group for industrial pressure gauges and thermometers providing support for new designs as well improvements to existing products. My main responsibility is for new products in mechanical temperature thermometers and assisting associated production lines. This involves hands on work for prototype’s and helping line workers build parts when questions arise. Taking customer input, the projects are tracked and coordinated with other supporting departments to meet deadlines as well as functionality and quality expectations with having an eye on costs as well. - Engineer responsible for maintaining/assisting precision pressure gauge line Wallace and Tiernan - Review new standards from approval agencies, and maintain products on file with UL, FM, CSA, 3A
