I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) at Lucida Tax and Accounting Solutions in Brookfield, WI where I specialize in accounting and taxes for closely held businesses and individuals. Over the years I have worked with a variety of businesses including: startups, those with a hundred million dollars in sales, ones with international operations, and others that require filing multiple state returns. I have prepared thousands of individual returns with a variety of issues such as: multiple state returns, suspended losses/basis issues, and oil & gas transactions among others. One of the most gratifying parts of my career is working with businesses and individuals to develop a tax plan that will save them significant tax dollars and aid them in achieving their objectives. As a Certified Valuation Analyst I am able to value closely held businesses. Uses for these valuations include estate & gift tax purposes, mergers & acquisitions, and SBA financing. I have been in public accounting since 2006, a Certified Public Accountant since 2009, and a Certified Valuation Analyst since 2013.
