The London Evolutionary Research Network, is a pan-institutional society that showcases the calibre and breadth of evolutionary research carried out by postgraduates at London institutions. Established in 2002 as a forum for London’s early career Evolutionary researchers to meet and discuss their work, LERN is growing an impressive reputation within the academic community. In addition to the annual conference, LERN run a monthly seminar series, debates, workshops, field trips, postgraduate talk sessions and social events including drinks or dinner following every seminar. The Clean Tech Challenge is a global business plan competition for innovative clean technology business ideas, organised by London Business School and University College London. It brings together a diverse group of students to create viable start-ups. Teams compete over three rounds for the £10,000 prize, awarded at the two-day Bootcamp finals in London. Participants are mentored by industry experts from the ‘cleantech’, entrepreneurial and related sectors.

Discover2Dream is an initiative aimed at giving students of all ages exposure to young professionals with whom they can relate. Our speakers, who are mainly young women, represent a variety of backgrounds and professions.
