* Selected accomplishments: 1. Led multiple concurrent consulting projects for both public and private organisations * 2. Developed and facilitated advanced and introductory risk management training for both senior management of small and medium enterprises, as well as C-suite management of a large engineering consulting company * 3. * Selected accomplishments: * Executed several risk management projects concurrently * Performed national operational risk assessment for South Africa's ports and railways * Developed several regional disaster management policy frameworks through community engagement and workshop facilitation across South Africa * Compiled risk profiles for multiple South African local municipalities incorporating various data gathering tools (both qualitative and quantitative). * As the Assistant Director for Risk Reduction, I was mainly responsible for coordinating the implementation of all Disaster Management activities within the Western Cape Province of South Africa for the Soccer World Cup of 2010, under the Director of Disaster Management for the Province. * My key responsibilities included: * The collation of all Local Municipal Disaster Management and Event Plans; * Managing stakeholder relations for the project; * Coordination of all communication and project administration; * Ensuring the alignment of 5 District Municipal Disaster Management plans for the various soccer related events

* As an intern at the National Disaster Management Directorate at the time, I planned the roll-out of the national disaster management centre's International Strategy for Disaster Risk Reduction day campaign in the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa. * This involved: * Compiling and managing the project plan, and maintaining the project schedule * Coordinating media involvement and releases during the event * Inviting all relevant stakeholders, and associated logistics surround that * All other event logistics, including catering, marketing material etc.
