• Monitor Fleet Safety Performance and practice of owned / Joint Venture vessels operator and address any deviation from the established Safety management system. • Support Overall ESG reporting process as an environmental pillar lead and Safety & Security, company environmental initiatives and Carbon footprint measurement. • Monitor Safety Performance and practices of shore Joint Venture units like shipyard/agency/Fabrication/towage and address any deviation from the established Safety management system. • Conduct regular Audits/inspection of shore JV entities and on vessels in accordance with the company standards. • Conduct TMSA3 verification of JV vessels operators at to verify that practices meet QGTC-Nakilat expectations. • Develop corporate Scorecard and keep management updated of status and emerging challenges. • Review and approval of Management of Change process. • Risk Champion for Enterprise Risk Management and Management of Change. • Develop and maintain Emergency Response Plan for the company. • Plan and coordinate Emergency mobilization Drills with Joint ventures units and vessel operator to be resilient and prepared. • Collaborate with external stakeholders like OCIMF, ITOSF, SIGTTO and Terminal Operators-Ras Laffan Authorities.

•Deputy DPA Danish Flag. • Ensuring safe, reliable and cost-effective ship management for the vessels. •Manage long term planning on safety initiatives/ Modification as per safety differently in building capacity, budgeting, fleet renewal and new building projects. •Ensure that vessels are operated fully aligned with the company’s core values as well as goals set by the Management. •Assisting vessel in Fixtures and complying with charterer’s requirement. •Handling and solving vessel’s cargo and tank cleaning related issues to the best of ability to avoid loss to organization. • Ensuring proper policy and procedures for Master on Safe Cargo stowage and operations. • Review vessel purchase inspection for suitability of service within the organization as per standards. •Visit vessel for Process Gemba and Incident Investigation. •Ensure that the team is engaged and via professional interaction and collaboration with vessels and shore stakeholders drive our safety standards •Ensure proper support to the vessels in Incident and Casualty handling situation. •Engaging with Flag Administrations, Class Societies / ROs. Keeping updated on International and Flag specific regulations. •Regular update to Management via reports and documentation. •Plan and coordinate new projects and upgrades related to Nautical, Safety and Compliance. •Administration of internal audits and Loss Prevention Programs. •Project and budget Management. •Dealing with External vendors.

• Rolling out safety initiatives for a fleet as a paramount priority in order to regularly guide crew on safe working procedures. • Ensuring that vessel is complaint at all the time with respect to Company’s SMS policy / flag state/Port state and Oil majors. • Assisting vessel in Fixtures and complying with charterer’s requirement. • Handling and solving vessel’s cargo and tank cleaning related issues to the best of ability to avoid loss to organisation. • All kind of incident and accident handling. • Advising vessel on optimization of resources and thereby saving cost. • E2E handling of Oil major/SIRE inspection. Approving STS operation after internal vetting of vessel using right ship tool. • E2E process of ISM/ISPS/MLC internal and external audit. • Handling of SMS Review and master’s Review. • Carrying out hiring, appraisals and assigning training to seafarers as per the need.

• Managing the implementation of Maersk Line safety management policy and industry best practices onboard vessel. • Evaluating unsafe conditions/acts, near misses and incidents to develop safety initiative. • Identify areas of improvement and perform risk assessment. • Keeping vessel compliant always and communication with Class/RO and flag state. • Preparing vessel for PSC inspection and handling the observation in an appropriate manner which includes follow up with PSC also. • Handling various projects like new building with respect to safe construction and compliance.

*Operated the vessel within owners/charter party/terminal and port requirements to maximize safety and optimize port turn around time. *Ensured the vessel remains in a state of readiness for internal and external audits/inspections, including SIRE and Port/Flag State. *Worked as a leader (Safety Officer) for safety of the ship, ensuring that Health safety and security and environmental Policy of the company complied with. *Conceptualized and implemented near-miss reporting campaign to encourage reporting of safety violations and near-miss incidents. Received enthusiastic participation that resulted in identification and mitigation of more than 200 risks. This led to improvements in operations and maintenance as well as safety standard, resulting in drop in “Lost time injury frequency” *Promoted cultural and departmental collaboration to create healthy work environment.
