Lead a diverse team of operations managers, enhancing commercial operations through training and process optimization. Oversaw voyage execution, insurance, and claims, collaborating with legal teams and P&I clubs to resolve disputes efficiently. Drove operational excellence by implementing performance monitoring and cost-saving strategies.

I joined Noble Group as a Freight Operator and quickly advanced to the role of Global Head, Freight Operations. Leading a team of operators, I oversaw all activities related to freight operations, shipping insurance, legal functions, contracts, and bunker desk. My ability to adapt quickly and to effectively handle freight operations led to my promotion within a year.

Monitored day to day operations of the vessel, attended vessels coming into Management for implementation of SMS and prepared vessels for Interim Audits. Conducted Internal Audits on Managed vessels. Conducted navigation audits, training on BTM onboard the vessels in management. Prepared vessels for third party inspections including rightship inspection, external audits etc. Arranged documentation required as per International regulations - US documentation etc. Participated in incident investigation of vessels in the fleet including investigation into Collision, grounding etc and assisted in preparing root cause analysis.

• Advised vessels on cargo, safety, crewing, MLC audits, and P&I cases, ensuring compliance and safety standards. • Attended vessels in shipyard for new delivery, setting up SMS and preparing for audits, contributing to successful certifications. • Provided guidance on weather updates to vessel Masters, enhancing navigation safety and efficiency. • Collaborated with teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with industry regulations.

In my role as a Master Mariner at Wallenius Wilhelmsen Lines, I led the navigation and operation of various types of dry bulk vessels such as Bulk Carriers, PCTCs, RoRo etc in global trade. I oversaw the safe transport of cargo, managed operational challenges, and optimized routes to ensure cost-effective and efficient shipping.
