With a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College, MBA in HR & Industrial Relations and Diploma in Hospital Administration and Diploma in Training & Development from renowned organizations. Presently I am pursuing my PhD in management. I had the privilege to work at the helm of affairs in the best of organizations. With over 29 years of distinguished work experience spanning across Military Nursing Services, Academic Nursing and Corporate Hospitals (Manipal, Max Healthcare & now Apollo) I have a diverse and vast exposure and contribution to various verticals of healthcare and I am glad my leadership is valued. The unshakable academic foundation , exposure to various clinical specialties and life skills I learnt very early in my life from the Defence services coupled with my exposure and positioning in the top corporates gives me an edge to contribute to the transformation of healthcare in this country. I have been an integral part of commissioning of hospitals, turnkey and re-engineering projects, accreditation and governance which help organizations that I work with create credibility and reputation. My vision is to build a nursing workforce that is key to patient and business outcomes thus enabling them to gain the respect they so richly deserve. Being a President's awardee and a recipient of many national and international coveted awards I wish to contribute immensely to the health system of our country which I feel is a responsibility paramount and I owe this to my profession.
