As an independent automotive consultant, my job duties entailed: • Using existing knowledge of the automotive aftermarket to implement good business practices with a company that was, at times, very outdated, and had little understanding of the importance of catalog data. • Training previously inexperienced data coordinator up to industry standards. • Analyzing product value and choosing a data system that fits my client’s budget. • Performing a complete data quality analysis for both PIES and ACES for both the automotive and medium/heavy duty sectors. To date, I have made over 127,000 individual changes within their ACES applications, removing incorrect coverage and adding missing vehicles. Our PIES data only had 15 fields completed, and we are now an SDC Platinum data provider. • Working with Sales/Product Management to help them understand the importance of product life cycle. Included Obsoletion of several thousand parts from their system that were on price list as active, but were never available or even sourceable (dummy part numbers). • Researching new parts to strengthen our market offering, and complete product lines. • Completing new data setups for O’Reilly’s, Advance/CarQuest, Autozone, NAPA Balkamp, as well as more traditional online retailers, such as JEG’s and Summit. • Setting up New Item Processes to unify sales/product management/sourcing/data. • Training other marketing employees up to industry image standards • Beginning to catalog heavy duty data to provide first-to-market data in their product types

Maintenance, release, and analysis of catalog, e-catalog data, and image assets. Identify growth opportunities within the automotive market through OE and aftermarket research.
