Creating purchase orders through outside vendors and through manufacturing in house. Following up to ensure we can meet the due date. Oversee annual inventory and implement improvements. Identify transaction errors and reconcile. Maintain inventory levels and designate min/ max. Analyze inventory, both slow moving and high moving. Adjust inventory levels as needed. Set up bill of material in ERP system based off engineering releases. This flow will run through the machine shop to the inventory area and then get put to assembly of the machine. Work closely with the production manager to meet deadlines and requirements.

Asset Management Specialist- Manage inventories of all supplies and create purchase orders as needed.  Manage inbound and outbound flow of returnable pallets and containers. Contacting OEM customers with issues on their paperwork and shortage of returnable needed to fill orders.  Coordinate product flow and help optimize space by moving product as needed.  Attend APQP meetings for new business and make sure we are prepared for the new packaging requirements.  Maintain dunnage inventory levels in both EPM system and customer system(s) as required.  Learn and develop new OE portals and develop process for shipping and receiving the dunnage.  Implemented pallet project that saved $30,000 annually. Inventory Planner - April 2008 - September 2017  Problem solving and decision making used to implement inventory plans for our Regional Distribution Centers and coordinate across multiple departments to ensure product is received by the customer on time.  Using Demand Solutions software to develop inventory plan and create orders to be sent to the RDC to fill their customer demand and keep enough inventory on hand to fill incoming orders. This involves communication through production, customer service, purchasing and load planning.  Optimize inventory to simultaneously maximize customer service levels and inventory turns while simultaneously minimizing risk of inventory obsolescence and carrying costs.  Lead training for new planners in department.  Conduct daily reviews of immediate and pending shortages to alleviate any supply chain bottlenecks and maintain optimal inventory levels.  Establish and maintain the appropriate stocking strategy for each product while balancing the risk of lost sales against the carrying of excess inventory.  Manage and monitor supply orders from release through completion.
