Special Counsel in the corporate practice groups of Cooley LLP business department. A founding member of Cooley LLP Shanghai office and Asia practice. Practice focuses on the representation of emerging companies as well as venture capital and other firms that invest in those companies. Counsel company clients and investors in a wide variety of projects, including company formations, restructurings, spin-offs, private and public financings, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture, licensing, and other strategic transactions, employee equity incentives, corporate governance matters, etc. Work with companies in a variety of industries, including the biotechnology, wireless, hardware, Internet, healthcare, life science, technology, software and telecommunications and other TMT industries, fintech, cryptocurrency, education, etc. Received L.L.M degree from New York University School of Law in 2009, and LLB degree summa cum laude from East China University of Political Science and Law in 2008 where served a leader of Legal Aid Center. Bilingual in English and Mandarin, and studying Cantonese.
