Oversaw the production process for 30+ op-eds and weekly columns, ensuring they adhered to the Spectator's high publication standards. Responsibilities included coordinating with the copy editing team, Editor-in-Chief, and Managing Editor to uphold AP style guidelines while preserving our authors' editorial voices. Co-authored multiple staff editorials, including "Mamdani’s mandate: What the mayor-elect owes young New Yorkers and what his supporters owe him," our endorsement of Columbia student government candidates, and "Columbia’s corporate governance." Managed the newly-created National Politics beat, supervising a team of associate editors and trainees in the development of a sourcing network for op-ed recruitment reflecting the intersection of national politics and Columbia University. This involved regularly meeting with contributors, conducting secondary edits, and pitching op-eds to highlight key campus conversations such as freedom of speech, the Trump administration, and national political trends.
