Cam Cunningham
Teacher @ Delta School District 37, British Columbia
About
I currently hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology (with Distinction) from Kwantlen Polytechnic University; as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Education with a focus in Secondary Teaching (First Class Honours) from Simon Fraser University. I am a firm believer in the importance of learning and the variety of environments it can stem from. My prior experience working as a Science Facilitator showed me that everyone has their own way of learning, it was this thought process that led me to aspire to become a high school teacher. I believe that it is important for everyone to discover their own method for learning and navigating through the vast body of knowledge that exists around us. My prior experience in the museum industry has provided me with many skills to succeed in the classroom and education-based environments. I have developed skills through this role relating to public speaking, content creation, content design, and skills relating to guest interactions both with adults and youth.
