Calum O'Donovan

If I learnt anything from college, it was that I had no idea what I wanted to do. I spent the next year working as a teaching assistant at a Junior School, which taught me many valuable skills, also that teaching wasn’t for me. I started working for Comfort Warmfloors in 2016 as a sales assistant, but due to it being a small business, my role involved almost everything. This enabled me to develop strong all-round business skills including: technical sales, purchasing, installation and project management. A few years later we merged with a larger underfloor heating company, UHS UK. I quickly took on the role of Estimating Manager, taking responsibility for enquiries and quotations, whilst improving processes and customer management. Keen for progression, I became the Business Development Manager at UHS in 2022. Tasked with cultivating new relationships and sales, I thrived. My role included prospecting new leads and taking them through the sales cycle, all the way to project completion. I successfully delivered a large number of projects of all sizes, for a wide range of customers, from main contractors to homeowners. I am proud to say that I’m now a part of Joshua James, in the position of Project Manager.
