Booking’s Fintech business unit develops new products and drives innovation to help continue removing financial friction from the travel process. The new department was created in 2021 with some ambitious growth plans for 2022. I was initially tasked with building three crafts, Product Management for Payments in Amsterdam, Engineering Management in their newly opened London office and the Test & Quality Engineering Department across both locations. I also went on to recruit for Data Science Leadership, Backend Engineering and SAP Engineering.

Deliveroo’s mission is to build the definitive online food company that people turn to whenever they think about food. I worked with Deliveroo to help with their post-IPO growth round specifically within Software Engineering for the UK and Poland. This was a delivery focussed role.

I Joined Zalando Payments to lead the rapid expansion of the technical business. Zalando Payments is the Fintech arm of the larger Zalando group, and its mission is to become the preferred payment solution for the fashion world, online and offline. Zalando Payments started 2020 moving into a hyper-growth phase with no permanent TA function. Whilst some disruption occurred due to the pandemic, my counterpart and I were able to grow the business by over 100 in the 18 months we were there.

Babylon Health’s mission is to put an accessible and affordable health service in the hands of every person on Earth. Here I led an exceptional team of 12 Talent Acquisition Partners along with the Candidate Experience team of 4. From January 2019 to January 2020 our team hired over 525 technical staff members into the London office. I was responsible for hands on recruitment within the product management and analytics job families.
