Working on protein and cell-based immunoassays for client projects. Responsibilities include: • Project leader of the ProStorm Cytokine Release Assay. Responsible for planning assays, leading lab work and writing project reports for clients within tight deadlines • Planning, scheduling and executing various assays within the cellular analysis services team • Writing SOPs and project reports for clients • Data analysis • Running T cell proliferation assays and ELISpots • Assay optimisation • Preparing and qualifying reagents prior to their use in assays • Isolating PBMCs from whole blood • Lab and equipment maintenance

• Cloned gene variants into GFP constructs. • Transiently tranfsfect GFP constructs into HeLa cells. • Carried out western blots and immunocytochemistry to determine which isoform was being expressed and how this altered subcellular localisation. • Presented results in lab meetings. • Summarised findings in a report at the end of the project.
