Edited and evaluated software for Store Level Data and Demand Creation Analytics Teams, provided administrative support, planned national conferences for the company, and published weekly newsletters and reports.

Designed and implemented English curricula and taught elementary and junior high English in Aga Machi. Presented at several educational conferences in the prefecture and coordinated multicultural programming for the Aga community.

Worked with Department of Political Institutions and Government and the Department of Justice. Conducted research on campaign finance during the 2007 Argentine presidential elections and on Argentine political culture, and reported on the transparency of the Council of Magistrates. Helped organize political conferences in Argentina and throughout Latin America.

As Career Development Program Specialist at Mi Casa, I served in two roles as Career Coach and Employer Engagement Specialist. As Career Coach, I worked individually with students to place them in rewarding careers. As Employer Engagement Specialist, I developed new and strengthened existing partnerships with employers in the financial services, customer service, construction, and manufacturing industries. These partnerships provided companies with a talented, multicultural workforce, while also providing Mi Casa's students with exciting career opportunities. Mi Casa Resource Center's mission is to advance the economic success of Latino families. The Career Development team at Mi Casa offers adult career training programs for entry level positions in industries including, but not limited to, financial services, health care, construction, and customer service.

I specialize in comparative politics and methodology, with a regional emphasis on Latin America. I study political behavior and public opinion in the context of political movements founded by charismatic leaders. My methodological interests range from survey and experimental analysis to historical investigation. My current research investigates the survival of political movements in weakly institutionalized settings, focusing primarily on Argentine Peronism and Venezuelan Chavismo. In particular, I analyze the nature and trajectory of citizens’ persistent attachments to these movements as well as the conditions under which new leaders can claim these attachments for themselves and restore the movement to its political predominance. I recently completed a combined 15 months of fieldwork for this project in Argentina and Venezuela, during which I conducted interviews, focus groups, and two survey experiments with the support of a Fulbright IIE Scholarship and a Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant from the National Science Foundation.
