I graduated from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba in 2014, where I majored in both Human Resources and Marketing. During my last year, I was the Director of Finance for the University of Manitoba Human Resources Association, which taught me numerous skills and allowed me to get involved with my peers as well as the growing HR Industry. I worked for Second Cup for 5 years and successfully put myself through university, while also gaining fundamental knowledge of small business management and customer service. Following my graduation from the Asper School of Business, I worked for 18 months at Focus Chiropractic where I was responsible for the financial operations, insurance billing and general administrative tasks. I currently work in the Human Resources department at Great West Life as an Employment Support Services Administrator and plan to begin the certification process for a CHRP designation in 2017.
