* Assessed and treated adult and geriatric patients in the acute and rehabilitation settings with neurological impairments resulting from stroke, Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and dementia in the areas of speech, language, cognition, and swallowing. * Conducted bed side swallow evaluations in the acute care setting. * Administered videofluoroscopic swallow studies to both inpatient and outpatient clients. * Electronically documented daily progress notes and diagnostic reports using Epic software. * Monitored the swallowing skills of inpatient clients during the hospitals dining program on the rehabilitation floor * Collaborated daily with physical therapists, occupational therapists, registered nurses, physicians and any other medical professional in order to develop and implement speech-language pathology services.

* Administered speech-language assessments and provided treatment to elementary and middle school children in the general education classroom, targeting the areas of: articulation/phonology, expressive and receptive language, vocabulary, fluency, and pragmatics. * Collaborated with classroom and special education teachers to incorporate curriculum materials into therapy sessions and maximize student success in the classroom. * Documented students daily progress, interpreted test results, completed evaluation reports, and prepared quarterly progress updates. * Monitored and updated Individualized Education Plans pertaining to student’s speech/language via Easy IEP software. * Participated in Individualized Education Plan meetings with the multidisciplinary team to report on students’ performance and to establish appropriate goals and objectives.

Evaluated and facilitated treatment to children ages 3-14 years old, whose primary disability is Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with subsequent communication deficits in the areas of: articulation/phonology, expressive/receptive language, fluency, and pragmatics. Integrated various Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, including PECS, the iPad application Proloquo2Go, & Dynavox technology to provide the clients with multiple forms of communication for expressing basic wants/needs and engaging in social interactions. Identified and implemented behavior management strategies and interventions in peer social groups. Actively collaborated with parents and the multidisciplinary team of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, board certified behavior analysts, and support staff in the outpatient clinical setting to report client progress and daily performance.

* Conducted hearing screenings and administered the Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals-5 CELF-5 as a screening tool to school-aged children in third through fifth grade. * Interpreted the results of hearing screenings and speech-language testing; prepared appropriate recommendations for further testing/evaluation.

* Assisted the speech-language pathologist during clinical assessment of clients exclusive of administration and/or interpretation of results. * Assisted with duties such as preparing materials and scheduling activities as directed by the speech-language pathologists. * Facilitated treatment provided by the speech-language pathologist, to children ranging from birth to 16 year olds with speech-language impairments, including those secondary to Autism, Down Syndrome, Cleft Palate, and Cerebral Palsy. * Documented client performance in daily SOAP notes and reported the information to the speech-language pathologist.
