I am a senior graduating in Spring 2026 studying Linguistics and English at the University of Washington. I am interested in developing a career in publishing—specifically as an editor. Through my English classes and working as a journalist, I’ve focused on honing both my writing and editing skills. I take pride in producing high quality work and believe that no piece of writing is ever truly finished evolving. Outside of my professional and academic work, I enjoy practicing my creative writing and narrative skills with the goal of publishing fictional novels.Both my professional and volunteer experiences have cultivated strong abilities in collaborative teamwork, professional communication, and thriving in fast-paced environments. Additionally, working as a counselor for foreign-exchange students and studying abroad in France and Japan means I’ve learned to facilitate cross-cultural communication. My professional history spans various fields, including customer service, childcare, journalism, and political fundraising—providing a versatile skill set with numerous transferable skills.
