At Ball State I majored in Telecommunications - Video Production and minored in Studio Art - drawing. While in attendance I created a recruitment video for the Ball Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency. After graduation I have done various freelance jobs with Cameras and Crew, Koller Communcations, Forward Motion Entertainment, and Furtrieve Pet GPS. My first job out of college was as a production assistant at WXIN-Fox 59. In that position I learned the audio board, lighting, and handheld camera operation. Eventually I was able to work my way into a backup editor position, and from there I was promoted into a full time editor. After nearly 11 years in news I moved on to Zergnet where I edit pop-culture related videos for YouTube. While editing I have learned Avid, Final Cut 7, Final Cut 10 and Adobe Creative Suite.
