I am a qualified qigong instructor/teacher giving people more energy and less stress. Whether you are 6 or 106, male or female, qigong can have a part to play to make you feel more rejuvenated, fitter, calmer and more content. I have been teaching for free since January 2023 and became fully qualified in late 2023. How? When we slow the body down it slows the mind. Through the ancient practice of qigong (pronounced chee gong), we can unlock trapped energy in the body and put it to better use – we do this through breathing, stretching, warming up, activating key parts of the body and then moving the body in flowing movements that brings your whole body out of fight and flight into a deep and lasting relaxation. A short term piece with Practical HR. They are a leading HR consultancy focused on making HR easy to understand with a no jargon approach and offering a complete service to your business and/or supporting your human resources function. My role was to elevate the sales function and make the HR products more visible in the market place. In particular, YourHR.Space, their unique and easy-to-use, online HR portal which manages everything connected with HR; from, policies, your handbook, wellbeing, holiday/absences, employee induction and an employee database – everything in one place and updated in real time when there are changes in UK employment law.

I started as a senior recruitment consultant and later took the lead recruiting role. Innovation is a leading provider of Programme and Project Management delivery/design and support. Established in 1987, Innovation has a history of delivery across many sectors including insurance, banking, engineering and media, encompassing IT implementations/infrastructure, compliance/regulatory and business critical programmes and projects.

My remit was to expand the existing national client base. When I arrived in 2004 the company had circa 2000 vending machines across the UK. During my time there I added another 8,000 machines which included individual sites and national accounts. I had to leave as I was becoming too unhealthy - too much free chocolate ;-)!

Lyreco is a leading office supplies company based in Telford. My role was to develop and open 10 new accounts per month with a value of £1000.00 or more whilst managing my existing client base. Split ratio of 35% new business and 65% account management. My area was Brentwood, Shenfield and Billericay. The monthly revenues from the area was £80k with a 45% profit. I was the number 1 sales person in South East London and no 3 in the whole country, the total field sales head count was circa 600 people.

This was an online course that introduced the concepts and understandings of Corporate Sustainability, Social Innovation and Ethics.
