I assisted customers in finding the right fabrics for draperies, bedding and upholstery etc... I would help them design and match colors and figure the proper yardage to do the job and also gave ideas and input to help them in deciding. I also helped with buying, special orders, keeping inventory, communication with certain vendors. Answering phone calls and managing multiple phone lines for the whole store. I worked in the bridal department assisting brides and their seamstress in finding just the right fabrics for their gowns. This job also helped me learn even more about the trade. While working here I was running Creative Sewing by Sindy part time. I then left in 2002 to run it fulltime
