About
Uros Budimac is a seasoned racquets sport executive and certified high-performance coach with over two decades of experience in program leadership, team development, and racquet sport innovation. He currently serves as Director of Racquets at The Granite Club in Toronto, where he leads one of Canada’s most expansive and multidisciplinary racquets programs, encompassing tennis, pickleball, squash, badminton, and table tennis. His role includes strategic oversight of program design, staff management, and member experience across all racquet disciplines. Uros holds a Tennis Canada High Performance Level 3 certification, and is additionally accredited by the United States Professional Tennis Association and the Spanish Tennis Registry. He is also a certified Pickleball Professional and Padel Manager, reflecting a holistic and forward-thinking approach to racquet sport leadership. Earlier in his career, Uros founded and operated the Budimac Tennis Group, which grew to become Canada’s largest private tennis events company. Through this venture, he led national-scale tournament operations and coach development programs, furthering professional standards and community engagement in Canadian tennis. He has previously held senior racquets leadership roles at Hollyburn Country Club and the Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club, two of British Columbia’s leading private sport institutions. Uros is a five-time recipient of the Tennis Canada Coaching Excellence Award, and in 2022, authored “Mine! – An Illustrated Guide to Women’s Doubles.” Widely recognized for his strategic mindset and collaborative leadership style, Uros is committed to cultivating high-performing teams and delivering racquet sport programs that inspire growth, excellence, and lifelong participation.
