As Director of Racquets, I’m responsible for setting the strategic direction and ensuring operational excellence across all racquet-sport programs, including tennis, pickleball, squash, badminton, and table tennis. I am part of a talented team of professionals and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and collaboration. My role includes overseeing innovative programming, leagues, social events that engage members of every level, while managing budgets, facilities, and capital projects to deliver best-in-class programs and services that align with the club’s mission and elevate the overall member experience.

Managing the tennis department at one of largest multi sport family clubs in Canada. Hollyburn Country Club has a total of 25 tennis courts including Indoor and Outdoor hard courts, clay courts, and grass courts. Key Responsibilities Included: • Overseeing and developing all operations within the Tennis Department. • Creation of roles and responsibilities amongst coaching team. • Preparation and review of Annual Budgets for tennis department and the Club. • Part of Tennis Canada’s TPA Advisory Committee, representing British Columbia. • Developing and branding of Hollyburn’s Junior Tennis Academy. • Hiring of coaches and member service staff. • Annual evaluations of contractors and staff. • Lesson content development. • Integrating Video analysis into tennis programs. • Marketing and promoting of events. • Hosting tournaments in conjunction with Tennis BC and Tennis Canada. • Event coordinator of the VanOpen ATP/WTA Challenger event. Development of Junior Tennis at Hollyburn Country Club

International Touring with Canada's top wheelchair tennis players. Development of wheelchair tennis at a Provincial and National level in Canada. Key Responsibilities Included: • Establishing and managing the goals and objectives of the National and Provincial Wheelchair Tennis programs. • Developing and preparing Yearly Training Plans which includes competition and training schedules, sport science, medicine support, player monitoring plans, skill norms, fitness norms, mental training norms and player and coach evaluations. • Overseeing the development and implementation of tennis programs in the province including: developmental programs, tournaments, league and match play, regroupings and Provincial Team tryouts. • Monitoring and managing the BC Wheelchair Sports budget for Wheelchair Tennis as appropriate. • Managing and coaching the Canadian National Wheelchair Tennis Team on international tours / competition.
