Senior Performance Evaluators lead and work in project teams to assess program operations. Using in-depth knowledge and experience in program evaluation or performance auditing as well as project management and leadership skills, senior evaluators help design project methodologies, oversee team progress during field work, and are responsible for project administration and research accuracy.

Performance Evaluators lead and work in project teams to assess program operations and make recommendations for improvement. Using strong research and analytical skills, evaluators research program efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with state regulations. Evaluators develop findings and recommendations and produce final written reports for submission to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee.

I began at OPE working as a team member on the project that resulted in the 2011 report Coordination and Delivery of Senior Services in Idaho.

I was hired as a part of the initial staff to support a new franchise location. I hired staff, trained new employees, and oversaw day-to-day operations in the front of the house and the kitchen. My main duties were to order supplies weekly from a variety of vendors, manage food and non-food inventory, process employee payroll, create employee work schedules, train new employees, and balance daily financial transactions. Working here gave me first hand experience in leading a team, managing a business budget, and interacting with customers.

I worked on the weekends unlocking buildings and classrooms for all buildings on campus for weekend student or event use. I unlocked rooms at 4am every Saturday and Sunday morning and stayed on call until 4pm to either unlock rooms or rent our folding chairs to groups. We occasionally assisted in larger events such as the temple groundbreaking or events at the university president's house. I also worked for one semester in the equipment room of the student gym.

I worked primarily as a pizza delivery driver but also worked as a line cook. I did this for the majority of my time in college. I also helped balance the daily financial transactions.

* I worked on several projects with biologists, recreation management specialists, livestock range grazing specialists, maintenance specialists, and environmental specialists. * Some of the projects I worked on included: * Cactus monitoring within Wilderness Study Areas of an endangered species of cactus, including collecting and updating GPS way points for known colonies. * OHV disturbance monitoring in Caineville, Utah * Updated recreation map and signage information in Wayne County Utah * Range grazing monitoring in Wayne County Utah * Construction of a fence for a BLM campground site on the Henry Mountains * Construction of a radio tower location on Copper Ridge of the Henry Mountains

As a congressional intern at one of Mike Simpson's Idaho offices, I primarily worked on constituent services including answering phone calls, emails, attending local civic events, conducting research, performing content analysis of Idaho newspapers, and categorizing citizen comments relating to the purposed CIEDRA bill.

I worked in the computers labs for College of Social Science and Public Affairs at Boise State University. I was the lab technician assigned to assist students with specialized computer programs such as SPSS and ArcGIS. I also helped maintained the SSPA Computer Labs website during its transition over to WordPress.

State and Local Government Policy and Administration Emphasis. Member of inaugural class. Research areas of interest include state legislatures, policy diffusion, and measuring interest group influence in the state policymaking process. Specifically, the reliance of citizen legislatures on interest groups for research and policy information.
