The opportunity to join Titan has significantly advanced my career, providing extensive experience alongside top-tier mechanics in the industry. My role has involved acquiring comprehensive skills in servicing, general workshop repairs, and major workshop repairs for Kenworth and Mack trucks equipped with quad trailer combinations. Furthermore, I have enhanced my proficiency in maintaining Caterpillar and Komatsu mobile equipment such as front-end wheel loaders and excavators. Notably, I have applied these skills during assignments at Davyhurst Gold Mine and Bronzewing Gold Mine under MLG.

I commenced my apprenticeship as a heavy road train mechanic with Bluetongue in August 2021. During my tenure at Bluetongue, I had the opportunity to work across various mine sites for different companies, which significantly enriched my knowledge and skills. At Rivet Mining Services, I gained hands-on experience at sites including Carina Iron Ore mine, Port Hedland, Nullagine gold mine, and Norseman gold mine. My responsibilities encompassed a wide range of tasks, including general servicing, responding to breakdowns, and conducting workshop repairs on a diverse fleet of trucks such as Kenworth, Mack, Western Star, and Volvo, often with trailer combinations. Additionally, I maintained and repaired plant equipment including Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Volvo wheel loaders and excavators, alongside occasional services on light vehicles.

Following the completion of my Certificate II in Heavy Diesel Mechanics, I secured a position at Westrac Cat as a trade assistant with the intention of securing an apprenticeship with the company. My primary objective was to attain an apprenticeship, although the competitive nature of the process presented challenges. Nevertheless, my tenure at Westrac Cat provided valuable mechanical experience that fueled my passion for the industry. During my time at Westrac Cat, I focused on final drives, specializing in dismantling, inspecting, and cleaning all components destined for rebuilding.
