15 years experience in the communications and media production industry, 5 of them as a business owner. My work included consulting, design and production, building on a fine arts education. In the final few years of my work in this industry, I conducted training and seminars in media production in both corporate and community college settings. 20+ years experience in higher education, at both the community college and 4-year college level. The goal that has evolved in my work over the past ten years is to empower students through their leadership skills to be agents of positive change, with the individuals they work with as well as their organizations. This is really a direct subset of Corban's mission statement.
