I worked in the back of the house of a very fast paced work environment operating different food prep areas. The duties of this job include knowing how to use and operate various ovens, stoves and grills to cook and serve food product. As well as cleaning anything from floors to ovens, dishes, re-stocking. Time management skills and working together as a team were an essential part to accomplish any work related task.

This job taught me invaluable back of the house skills in addition to delivering food across the city. For this job I took orders at the register, operated the drive-thru, delivered food across the city, and preformed back of the house cleaning duties. In addition to that I had my first experience with food preparation in a professional setting. I was taught to slice various meats and cheeses with a mechanical slicer, how to bake bread and the secrets of making beloved sandwiches. During my time at this restaurant our location was in the top 10 in total sales for the country, amongst other Jimmy Johns.

During the summer of 2015 I worked as a cocktail server at one of the most popular seafood destinations in town. My job required me to take drink orders and serve customers alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while patrons waited for a table to dine at. In addition to taking orders, handling transactions, and running drinks I also performed back of the house duties like cleaning.

For this job i delivered paper and printer products to business's across several counties in Northwest Florida. Operating out of warehouse shared by multiple local businesses in Panama City, i was tasked with keeping and categorizing inventory, physical delivery of the product, and all money handling. I worked their for the summer following my high school graduation, before moving to Tallahassee for school in the fall.

This job required me to rent out various beach equipment such as fold-out chairs, lounge chairs, and umbrellas to tourists on the beach. I earned a commission off of certain items rented, which served as a great motivator to sell. The job required certification for C.P.R., A.E.D., first aid and lifeguard training. All of these were obtained through a multi-day Red Cross course taught by active duty police officers. The job was very physically demanding, requiring 11-12 hour days working in the sun, 6-7 days a week, which i did during the summers of my Sophomore and Junior years in high school. This job taught me commitment, punctuality, dependability, and the value of a hard days work.
