A community-focused social enterprise based in Chesterfield serving Derbyshire, built on the belief that independent third spaces are essential community infrastructure, and that individual wellbeing and community wellbeing aren't separate things. Belonging, connection, and mattering to the people around us are as essential to how we feel as movement, rest, or breath. That's the foundation everything at Folc is built on. We mindfully bring people together through yoga, Pilates, somatic movement, breathwork, and women's circles, running around 20 classes a week alongside workshops and retreats – not just as wellness offerings, but as regular, reliable places to belong. As a Community Interest Company, we're structurally committed to accessibility and independence from corporate ownership – reflected in our two-tier Oak/Elm pricing and in the Good Folc Fund, our pay-it-forward initiative that works to make our sessions more accessible to more people. My work spans strategy, operations, brand, and community-building.
