I first became smitten with the medium during long nights in the darkroom at Princeton University, surrounded by reels of black and white film and the chemical fumes of developing trays. After graduation I enjoyed more than 10 years as a freelance photographer based out of New York City, with a passion for people, travel, and for documenting our spectacular world. Photography has taken me to Cuba, Hong Kong, London, Spain, and 15 countries in Central and South America. It has also allowed me the joy of capturing the miraculous moments in life: birth, love, family, marriage. I find inspiration in the beauty of human form and expression, and the unique relationship that develops between photographer and subject.
