Salmon Innovation Fund invests in innovations accelerating wild Pacific Salmon recovery and resilience, and EnVest is a global community of early stage funds working collaboratively to accelerate capital into climate and sustainability innovations. Our funds invest at the earliest stages, typically first check in, then help our founding teams navigate the challenging Zero to One phase, using our custom built network of co-investors, advisors, mentors, and operations support resources. We are proud to have been early investors in multiple emerging leaders in the climate and sustainability space, including Tidal Vision, It's Electric, Blue Nalu, Simplifyber, Blumen Systems, Inversa, Public Goods, Hilos, Zoolife and Algenesis.

EnVest (www.envest.earth) is a member driven environmental investment organization, whose mission is to accelerate capital being deployed behind obsessed founders creating better/cheaper/faster innovations that are better for the environment than current solutions. Since 2017, 195 Founder to Series A companies have been selected to present to members at EnVest EnVision. They have gone on to raise more than $6 billion and have a current value in excess of $10.0 billion. EnVest members are leading early stage funds, family offices, corporations and private investors who are actively investing in early stage climate and sustainability opportunities.

Stanford Climate Ventures is a three-quarter project-based course sequence that practices the creation of transformational climate ventures and innovation models. In the Fall, it runs the “Big Ideas in White Space in Climate-Tech Entrepreneurship” seminar where it brings in global climate-tech experts to help point the Stanford climate-tech entrepreneurship community to some of the high-impact areas where there aren’t very many startups today (i.e. “white spaces”). During the Winter and Spring quarters it shifts to “project based” mode, where interdisciplinary teams come together to research, analyze, and develop detailed launch plans for high-impact climate-tech start-ups, supported by a hand picked group of mentors. Since its founding in 2016, 45 Stanford Climate Ventures teams have received more than $725m in funding, and include several emerging leaders including Fervo, Brimstone and Mitra Chem.

Fellowship recipients receive $110,000 in funding along with advisory support to help fund the start of a high-impact for-profit or nonprofit venture to address a pressing environmental need.
