Software Developer specializing in robotic solutions for industrial applications.

In order to evaluate the ecological impact of the destruction of a forest around Louvain-La-Neuve which is required to build a new residential area, I was asked to assemble several bat ultrasound collectors. Several problems occurred during the construction which means I had to adapt and find new solutions. Once they were constructed I was asked to test them and start analysing results from the collectors.

During my first master year, I was given the opportunity to tutor in mechanics for first year kinésithérapeute students and in electrical engineering for second year students. It has opened me to the world of teaching and allowed me to develop my presentation skills since I had to teach to big classes of up to 50 students.

As part of the curriculum I am following at UCLouvain, we were given the opportunity to build a robot from scratch in team of 6 and participate in the Eurobot competition. It was a real challenge that allowed me to learn a wide range of skills such as embedded systems with many different sensors, electronics in robot, team work and lastly organisation.

As a student job aside from my studies, I worked for dogchef which produces dog food. I learned to manage my time very efficiently and find the best work life balance possible as a student.
