Lead the end-to-end development of a design-driven home décor and lifestyle brand. Oversee concept creation, prototyping, and small-batch manufacturing, including mold design, 3D modeling, casting workflows, and production optimization. Manage brand identity, marketing strategy, and social content direction to build an engaged audience and expand retail presence. Coordinate vendor relations, material sourcing, quality control, and cost analyses to support scalable growth. Drive product launches from early ideation through market release while managing business operations such as LLC formation, inventory systems, client communication, and partnership development.

Researcher/Laboratory Manager of the Mariko Bennett Lab at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Work conducted under the supervision of Dr. Hongjun Song and Dr. Guo-Li Ming. Supported a 30+ member neuroscience lab through research, operations, and animal-care responsibilities. Core duties included mouse genotyping, primary microglia preparation, tissue embedding/sectioning, immunostaining, and confocal imaging (Zeiss). Independent research examined the impact of the antiretroviral drug dolutegravir on neurodevelopment and behavior in a mouse model. Served as the point person for all animal-related workflows—maintaining IACUC compliance, managing mouse colony needs, and overseeing daily checks in the satellite facility. Additional contributions included lab scheduling, grant and purchasing coordination, vendor/client communication, figure and model design, equipment maintenance/repair, and secure DEA-compliant handling of Schedule I/II drugs.

Continuation under the mentorship of Dr. Margaret Pearce. Served as a supplemental resource for teaching experimental techniques to undergraduates such as genetic cross methodology, distinguishing fly ovipositioning, fly brain dissection, and genotyping. Independent research involved refining a novel chemo-genetic assay to monitor protein aggregate-induced neurotoxicity, measured by olfactory responses on positioning, within the Drosophila melanogaster fruit fly. Secondarily investigated whether mutant Htt protein aggregation contributed to Huntington's disease pathogenesis when expressed in the fly heart. In addition, handled various lab-related responsibilities consisting of ordering/stocking materials, preparing fly food, and autoclaving materials. Also, maintained lab space up to code for scheduled inspections from the Office of Environmental Health and Radiation Safety. Participated in monthly research journals summarizing relevant data as well as facilitating joint discussions among lab members.

Training and mentored under Dr. Margaret Pearce at The Department of Biological Sciences. Learned research methods studying the prion-like aggregation of the Huntingtin protein modeled in the Drosophila melanogaster fly brain. Skills developed included genetic crossing, micro-dissection (fly-brain), PCR, gel electrophoresis, immunohistochemistry, fluorescent microscopy, and confocal microscopy via the Leica system.

Served as a student assistant for the lab portion of General Biology II. Tasks included setting up class experiments, proctoring practicals, and grading assessments.

Trained and mentored under Dr. E. Amy Janke at The Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences. Developed principle knowledge within health psychology by observing the relationship between eating behavior and pain in patients. Lead in studying the influence of message framing regarding eating behavior during stressful experiences. The project involved instructing participants on reading a pamphlet that had nutrition information either framed in a negative or positive manner, while at the same time presenting them with food that ranged from low to high caloric content. Additional tasks included database entry, IRB submission, participant recruitment, database management, data analysis via SPSS software, data collection via Qualtrics, and training incoming student researchers.

Worked as a student assistant in The Office of Residence Life. Daily tasks included answering emails, organizing paperwork, and data entry. Took lead in organizing the university's annual Off-Campus housing fair by creating contact relations with the various apartment companies around the West Philadelphia/University City area to come to showcase available units on campus.

Assisted with department manager in product merchandising and marketing. Provided monthly detailed reviews of company-promoted beauty/skincare items to the store team to enhance product knowledge. Contributed to meetings discussing potential trends within the beauty industry. Aided in cultivating a positive customer shopping experience, trained new hires, participated in annual team lead summits, and made content to post on Urban Outfitters' social media accounts.
