The program's philosophy centered on transcending traditional asset class and product categories in favor of building risk-efficient, uncorrelated, and high-returning portfolios.

Oversaw all hedge fund due diligence for $14 billion institutional fund of hedge funds. Demonstrated investment expertise across the gamut of equity, fixed income, relative value, and macro strategies. Established and managed the firm's London office. Spearheaded the firm's portfolio of international investments and managed portfolios for global clients.

Analyzed equity and fixed income mutual funds, covering multiple investment styles and geographies, and specializing in several high-profile fund families. Authored numerous studies on investing and personal finance, such as index vs. active strategies, sourcing "hidden gem" investments, and prudently accessing emerging markets. Fulfilled significant broadcast and print media responsibilities, appearing frequently in outlets such as CNBC, CNN, and The Wall Street Journal.

Designed and taught undergraduate seminars on “Foundations of Classic Political Economy,” focusing on the central debates surrounding the intersection of markets, states, and civil society. Taught classes and lectured on international political economy, globalization, and international conflict. Traveled extensively to research and teach the global political foundations of modern capitalism.

Studies centered on classic and modern political economy, globalization, and research methodologies. Wrote dissertation on the challenge of achieving international cooperation in the public regulation of private business competition. Research on international antitrust issues supported by the MacArthur Foundation and conducted in Chicago, New York, Washington, DC, Paris, and Brussels.
