Facilitates GLP and MED study coordination and reporting; collaborates with Regulatory Affairs to develop standardized study reports and regulatory submissions. Inventories nonclinical study samples and documents in partnership with QAU and LabOps. Supervises research specialists and manages training, on/off-boarding, and mentorship for translational team. Develops, implements, and refines systems & workflows across the organization.

Develops and implements laboratory operational efficiencies including standardizing sample submission, standardizing and optimizing protocols and quality controls, developing and maintaining tracker tools to ensure efficiency of the Core and Research Operations. Responsible for training staff, providing support during necropsies and help delivering the highest quality pathology services. Manages the projects in the Translational Lysosomal Storage Group portfolio, sets up meetings with other cores as needed to harmonize and organize workload, prepares agendas, meeting minutes, and action items. Manages subject screening/enrollment, Data Collection Tool retrieval, study supply, and query distribution to/retrieval from assigned study sites. Facilitates the preparation of status reports, payments to sites and participation in regular project team meetings including review and distribution of meeting minutes. Reviews study data in accordance with Data Management Plans and applicable (SOPs, etc) to identify data trends, data inconsistencies, and erroneous, missing, incomplete, or implausible data through the aggregate review of study data by patient, site, and/or project.
