Introduced over 1,000 new students to Kennesaw State University at orientation over the winter and summer of 2008. Individually lead approximately 20 to 30 students and assisted each new student with schedule building and adjustment to college. Lead campus tours for prospective students in small groups of 5 to 10 students with parents. Planned and attended a national civic engagement project, in December 2008, to serve the community of Bay St. Louis, Ms that was hit by Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Gustav by rebuilding houses, clearing debris, and clearing shrubbery to provide for the building of new apartments for displaced families. Individually organized and fundraised for a community project to serve DEFACS children. Planned an international civic engagement project to serve the community in Indonesia and Thailand that was damaged by the massive tsunami epidemic in 2005. Used leadership skills taught through daily modules to build better relationships with others.
