While at Cisco I’ve worked diligently to transform Cisco TV’s ‘silo’ based production workflow into a seamless and collaborative experience. My main task involves working with creative content production and IT to develop and implement thoughtful solutions that enable a streamlined and efficient collaborative workflow from ingest to delivery.

* Oversee the entire content production workflow from personnel to facility. * Provide vision and direction for the department in both process and technology. * Clients include Brocade, Cisco, IBM, NSC, NetApp, Oracle, Raytheon, SAP, Symantec, and Xilinx.

* Gather specific requirements from the client and integrate them into the overall technical broadcast and recording plan. * Consult with architects, M&P, electrical, and structural engineers. * Create project plans and budgeting for the broadcast and recording facilities of the build.

* Supervised day-to-day operations in a state-of-the art acquisition/encoding/broadcasting master control room. * Worked with clients to establish fiber and satellite feeds from their events to our facility. * Set-up and shoot company meetings and special projects for marketing and sales.

* Supervised a group of 12 video editors and 20 media encoders * Created a process of editing and encoding to maximize computer and human resources and helped develop an organizational scheme to manage the large volume of raw and encoded media. * Contributed to the R&D and QA process to shore up Pixelon’s existing technology and help develop a new generation of encoding hardware. * Supervised on-location production and promotional projects

* Scheduling vendors and FTEs for on-location production work. * Interfacing directly with clients to determine specific production requirements. * Integrating the Altus production process into an on-site, live webcast, and on-demand production service center. * Responsible for transitioning the production team from an analog video capture model to an entirely digital signal flow.
