A member of a Safety Management Team for MWH Global building a design build groundwater treatment facility for Price's Pit Landfill, Egg Harbor, New Jersey, Price's Landfill was classified as a Superfund Site by EPA. This project was under a contract with the Philadelphia District Army Corps of Engineers, with continual partnership with the EPA. There were about 130 union contractors and project management staff on this project, which spanned over 26 acres. Responsibilities were to conduct new hire orientation, administer a safe worker rewards program, accident prevention and accident investigation. Daily compliance audits with the EM385 1-1 requirements, CFR 29 1926 and 1910, ISO 14001, 18001, NFPA, NEC regulations; utilizing Predictive Solutions. Participate and brief the client in weekly progress meetings.
