Brian Petrich

I directed an NIH-funded research laboratory focused on understanding the molecular basis of cell adhesion in the context of thrombosis and tumor blood vessel development. I collaborated extensively with basic science and clinical investigators, wrote grant applications, published scientific manuscripts, and oversaw the operation of a research team. I trained and mentored undergraduates, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, supervised laboratory technicians and taught classes in the Graduate and Medical Schools.

I managed a research laboratory focused on understanding how platelet integrin adhesion receptor signaling contributed to cardiovascular disease.

I conducted postdoctoral training in Dr. Mark Ginsberg's laboratory studying cell adhesion signaling in hematopoietic and vascular cells.
