Dr. Levitt enjoys a busy mix of clinical activity, including expert psychological-legal assessment and clinical treatment services. In his psychological-legal assessment work he has expertise in diagnosing and rating impairments due to a variety of psychological disorders, as well as addressing questions related to malingering or exaggeration. Dr. Levitt also provides opinions integrating the effects of bodily injuries, pain and pain disorders with mental and behavioural disorders. He gives expert opinion testimony in court and arbitration when there are disputes over these matters. In addition to his psychological-legal work, Dr. Levitt shares responsibility for patient care in our clinic, including psychovocational aspects of rehabilitation. He engages in clinical supervision, as well as education, training and mentoring of our clinicians. He also is active in educating psychologists and other health professionals, lawyers, and government officials and employees with respect to a variety of issues in the field.
