Involved in the project management of significant infrastructural developments. Taking a project from inception through design and statutory processes to construction and closing out the project. Also involved in database design, report writing, GIS system setups and analysis, noise and traffic modelling, preparing contract documents.

Worked as a site engineer on two of the largest buildings in London, namely the HSBC tower and 25 Bank Street. As a site engineer I was responsible for the setting out of various reinforced concrete elements. Duties  Setting out reinforced slabs, columns, walls, openings etc.  Assisting the QA engineer in the production of as built drawings.  Carrying out quality checks on concrete arriving on site.  Maintaining setting out equipment on a weekly basis.  Liaising with the site management team, subcontractors and senior management.

* Delivering, developing and researching areas in Civil Engineering and Quantity Surveying Practice. Creating and delivering modules such Quantative Methods and Valuation, Measurement and Cost Modelling, Contract Administration and Management, Construction Economics and Financial Accounting, Transportation planning and construction and Building Information Modelling. * Duties: *  Producing and delivering University of Portsmouth accredited lecture material *  Preparing examination question papers and solutions *  Attending and presenting at Module Assessment Board Meetings with relevant module statistics *  Liasing with senior management in various committees such as IT, Health and Safety, Examinations etc. *  Researching in areas relevant to module delivery *  Liaising with industry partners in module delivery plans to incorporate industry artefacts, case study talks with subject matter experts, site visits etc.

The Diploma in Local Government Studies provides a more in-depth and analytical treatment of the main local authority services. It is also designed to amplify and build on the foundation coverage of legislation provided by the Certificate in Local Government Studies.
