Assisted with nursing home abuse litigation, primarily issuing and answering discovery, interviewing clients, drafting simple motions, reviewing medical records, and writing correspondence to opposing counsel. Additionally, I worked on a large scale consumer fraud case wherein I researched condo association turnovers, fiduciary duties of condo developers, complex agency relationships between associations and its unit owners, and other highly specialized condo law issues.

Drafted judicial opinions for cases including unemployment benefits, workers compensation, levy sales, eminent domain, ADRC sanctions, and other post-judgment creditors' remedies. Conducted legal research such as reviewing Illinois statutes, examining case law within parties' briefs, and checking citations within opinions. Observed Judge White's daily call in the law division consisting of motions for citations, rules to show cause, body attachments, and turnovers. Additionally, I was able to monitor voir dire, opening and closing arguments, and jury instructions for medical malpractice and personal injury trials.
