Constructed valuation models using leveraged buyout and discounted cash flow methods to assess fair value of limited partnership interests in global Private Equity funds. Analyzed existing portfolio, established data room and spoke with targeted buyer sets for sale processes of large state pension funds’ Alternative Investment holdings. Created offering memorandum, prepared materials for and participated in credit committee meetings with senior management at UBS to obtain approval for Stapled Financing. Worked exclusively with Co-Head of group on strategic recommendations to large European financial institution regarding its investment management division. Spent June - August 2011 as a Summer Associate in the group.

Evaluated and managed risk profile of loans, as well as collateral supporting the loans, made by Lehman Brothers and CIT as part of Bankruptcy proceedings. Built valuation models using quantitative financial methods including discounted cash flow, comparable company and precedent transaction analyses, liquidation waterfall, leveraged buyout, and ability to pay. Constructed monthly and quarterly reports tracking the performance of the portfolio companies of Hedge Fund and Private Equity clients. Created management presentations, prepared materials for and participated in fairness committee meetings with senior management from the Restructuring and Mergers and Acquisitions groups. Coordinated University of Pennsylvania investment banking recruiting effort, both for full-time analyst and summer analyst program (one of the few lead analysts), and participated in firm mentorship program.
