Designed and manufactured teleoperator stations that allow a single driver to monitor and control multiple autonomous trucks simultaneously. This included ergonomic integration, mounting, and adjustment of user-interface components, as well as manufacturing the custom electrical harness for CAN and power. Designed sheet metal brackets for mounting sensors (e.g., LIDAR, cameras, radar) and other electronics required by the proprietary autonomous driving software installed on shipping trucks. Assisted in FEM simulation required for TÜV certification of the modified vehicle fleet. Created an initial standard for technical drawings and communication with 3rd party manufacturers, which were used by the entire mechanical engineering team. Assisted in day-to-day testing, repairs, and other miscellaneous activity in an R&D/ prototyping workshop both in Munich and at the customer operation center at the Port of Tallinn.
