Quality Assurance Fixture (QAF) Engineer (QAF) Job Duties - Analyze interior and exterior trim fit conditions using Quality Assurance Fixtures (QAF), determining the root-cause and develop corrective actions for issues. Work with plant personnel to recommend, validate, and implement proposed solutions and then verify the effectiveness of the corrective actions implemented through data analysis.

Job duties - Quality measuring, maintain quality on single cell CNC machines, dial machines, assembly lines, welding lines, and transfer machining lines. Programming and using Atos 3D scanning, Leica Laser Tracker, and PCDMIS programming. · Mechanical — Experienced with machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Using mills, lathes, grinders, saws, drill presses, and boring mills. · Design — Experienced with design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. · Engineering and Technology — Educated in the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services, reengineering, and reverse engineering all machinery. · Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
