Since introducing Island Stone to the UK in 15 years ago, my wife Margot and I have launched two more companies, Eco Friendly Tiles and Eco Friendly Facades. Eco Friendly Tiles is the UK’s first CarbonNeutral® tile company. We saw a need for a specialist company to take the work out of specifying environmentally friendly finishes for architecture and design projects, and so Eco Friendly Tiles was born. We supply projects all over the UK and work with top tier architects and interior designers. I regularly deliver CPD and product presentations to explain manufacturing processes that reduce material resources and embodied carbon with an introduction to cutting edge technologies that are in tune with a sustainable future. highlighting why not all thin tiles are the same. Eco Friendly Facades has soft launched following an increased demand for large format porcelain facade panels. Our Shannon XL range of super large facade panels are virtually unsurpassable in technical performance, colour and UV stability and even self-clean and air purify.
