• Added kernel-mode driver support for new hardware features in the GPU’s security microprocessor. • Extended the real time operating system of the security microprocessor to support these new hardware features. • Developed tests and debugging tools for the security microprocessor on software and full-chip hardware emulation.

• Helped modify Android for use in driving and controlling prototype touchscreens. • Documented the process for installing Android on the Pandaboard ARM computer platform. • Developed tools for installing Android on the Pandaboard’s SD card on Windows. • Added visualization to a Perl script which analyzes the accuracy of prototype touchscreens.

• Designed, constructed, and tested a sensor for affordably measuring the vortex induced vibrations of a seal whisker shaped solid. • Developed software for recording and analyzing sensor data. • Assisted a graduate student in the design of bodies incorporating the whisker’s vortex-reducing design.
