About

I recently became an Associate Director for the family run foundation that raises funds for art programs in inner city schools in New York. The foundation is a legacy foundation but has lost its way in recent years. Once I restore the fundraising abilities to reach the schools in NY, my hope is to eventually help other school districts that may lack funding to continue such vital programs as art and music. My interdisciplinary studies background has helped me come up with fresh, creative ideas that I look forward to implementing with my team. After being in front of cameras as a model when I was younger, I prefer to be behind the camera and have found a niche in Real Estate Photography. My previous experience taught me about lighting and angles, which has helped me find the best way to highlight a room or property. Final editing through Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, or Aurora HDR are software programs I use. While working on my degree, I also worked in retail environments which helped me learn effective customer service skills, which I find are important in all aspects of any career. When I'm not working I enjoy being a member of the APA and USAPL pool leagues and honing my skills while also encouraging my teammates. I also volunteer at Loaves and Fishes which provides food and personal necessities for low income families in my local community.

In this new position, my role is to review and evaluate fundraising methods used by the previous directors and then utilize the ones that brought the most success and then develop new innovative ways to raise funds that will be donated to art and music programs at underfunded schools. Presently this is only in the NY area, but we want to expand to other parts of the country. I am currently in the planning stages of the 25 year anniversary scheduled for July 2022.
