I have 15 years of experience in biomedical research, and well-established leadership, mentorship, and teaching skills. Extensive experience in structural biology (particularly, X-ray crystallography and small-angle X-ray scattering), enzymology, computational protein design (Rosetta Macromolecular Modelling and Design), high-throughput screening, and directed evolution. Broad technical expertise in assay development, molecular biology (including library design), protein purification, and computational protein modelling and design. Proven track record of planning and coordinating multi-disciplinary projects at the interface of biochemistry, biophysics, computational biology, and structural biology. Strong scientific communication skills, as evidenced by extensive scientific publication and presentation record. Received a PhD in Biochemistry from McGill University, under the supervision of Prof. Albert Berghuis (structural biology and enzymology), and am currently pursuing post-doctoral training at Rutgers University under the supervision of Prof. Sagar Khare (protein engineering).
