Intelligence Collection Manager
Charlottesville, Virginia Area
The Intelligence Collection Manager (CM) functions as a part of an intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of USFOR-A Counter Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED) efforts in Afghanistan. I may be required to support various levels of commands from Regional Command, Brigade, Regiments, Marine Expeditionary Unit, Marine Expeditionary Brigade and Battalion analytical requirements. I am responsible for coordinating all C-IED Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) collection requirements and ensure all intelligence data is properly disseminated within the supported command/organization. I will develop, maintain and update collection plans based on the supported Commander's requirements prioritized in support of C-IED specific targets. I will monitor an assortment of available organic and non-organic (organic sensors are assigned/attached to the supported command/organization; non-organic belong to other commands/organizations) collection systems for new nominated requirements, then validates and distributes them as required. I will prepare ISR assessment metrics of IMINT, SIGINT and HUMINT products to gauge the effectiveness of collection operations. I will interact with higher, lateral and subordinate commands/organizations' Collection and Requirements Managers including organizations within ANSF/GIRoA to answer intelligence related RFIs and de-conflict or collaborate on AOR C-IED requirements and reporting. I may be required to create and present briefings when required.

Geolocation Operator/Analyst

I produced geo-location data to support the development of various intelligence reports. Additionally, I conducted general and directed radio frequency searches. I possess the skills and knowledge to manage and facilitate the prosecution of collection data files. I did Shift work as required. I successfully obtained a client-specific journeyman certification as required. Skills: I provided real-time or near real-time support to Military operations and know ground, airborne, and/or national geo-location systems. Experience with tactical geo-location tools and software, as well as imagery tools and associated databases as required. Familiarity with communications intelligence collection equipment.
