* I own and co-ordinate a house music events company in Liverpool known as OMNIA. * This has grown rapidly and evolved into one of the cities finest events with a growing following each day. * This role involves a large amount of planning, budgeting and making day to day business decisions in order to promote success and increase revenue.

Around my studies I have worked for BRC Promotions LTD as a self employed sales agent. In this role I work on behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support in signing members of the public into their lottery scheme in order to generate a sustained and reliable income for the charity. I have also trained on Alzheimer’s UK, British Heart Foundation and RSPCA but my main role is with Macmillan. I thrive on the fast paced environment and also the small but necessary amount of pressure that comes with the sales role.

* I carried out 2 periods of work experience at Cross Solicitors, a High Street firm based in North Wales. This experience provided me with an insight into what it is like working for an everyday firm on a local high street. * The experiences I gained from this were vast but were mainly focused on crime. * I attended Mold magistrates with the partner of the firm to oversee some summary offence trials. * I also attended much smaller regulatory offence matters with an associate of the firm.

* I shadowed an experience Magistrate at a local magistrates court in St Helens. * I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and got a perspective of the decision making process within summary offences. * This was prior to it closing down as part of the Governments initiative and was an interesting perspective to see just how important a local magistrates court is to the justice system.

* I carried out a period of work experience within St John's criminal department. * This included following a Sexual Assault trial whom the barrister I was assigned was defending. * I also shadowed a second barrister during the preliminary stages of their case. * The experience was insightful and enjoyable to take part in as I saw first hand the skills required from an advocate.

* I was selected to go on a period of work experience with SAS Daniels in their insolvency and liquidation department. * This period of experience was enlightening for me as it was my first experience of business and company law. * This is something I have now gone on to study at degree level and the experience I gained from SAS Daniels provided a good first hand experience of this. * I shadowed the insolvency practitioner within the firm and observed meetings with clients surrounding their pending liquidation and how their businesses could be salvaged.
